How does a broken toe from S. Claus sound? Oh, you're curious?
So, typical conversation:
Somebody: "Why are you limping?"
Nostromo: "Pretty sure I broke my toe."
SB: "How'd you do that?"
Nos: "Kicked my mom's tv."
SB: "What for?"
Nos: "I was mad at it."
SB: "...?"
Nos: "Cause I'm a smart-ass, clumsy bastard that without a single drop of eggnog or any other libation managed to mistake my aim whilst strategically finding footing betwixt an enormous mound of parcels, the conifer, and the television set - instead found my middle toe driving headlong into the sharp corner of a 1980's Zenith floor model brick of entertainment furniture."
SB: "Bet that hurts."
Nos: "...something bitter and hateful, muttered under my breath..."
Aside from debilitating injury, I also received this year a HotWheels Action Pack featuring a Jeep and motorcycle decorated with licensed logos and such from the Tomb Raider motion picture - the only toy...from Mrs. Nostromo.
There were uninterestingly enough four articles of clothing, some boxed game called "Hooplah," lots of candy, jumper cables, a python looking pillow, and an unspecified amount of cash.
Our daughter, however, continues to be spoiled rotten with no less than 50 different new toys over the course of the last 2 weeks. I remember when this used to be our apartment. There is now no solitary room in the place that is not infested with toddler toys. A perfect obstacle course for a fellow with a broken toe.
Hope yinz had a happy!

Yes, she has, and she's quite the natural when it comes to breaking them.
